About Miffy

Miffy is a ninja blue viola player, who plays folk fiddle, but also has a normal viola as well. He plays recorder, sings and even conducts!

Miffy does a lot of folk music - in particular he plays for Gog Magog Molly (google them). He also plays classical, and sings church music. He also loves doing music outreach as well!!! Miffy is a ninja blue viola player! He does a lot of folk music - in particular he plays for Gog Magog Molly ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLdrkKpS0vI&spfreload=10 or http://www.gogmagogmolly.org.uk/ ). He plays both viola and recorder in the Cambridge University Ceilidh Band, and The Medium-sized Square Band. He also plays classical music in many orchestras, have been in a few (mostly G&S) pit bands for shows, and plays in the Cambridge University Recorder Ensemble. He sings Gregorian Plainchant and polyphony each week with Fisherhouse Chapel, and also sings in Downing College Chapel Choir. He has been in a number of shows (primarily male chorus in Gilbert and Sullivan). He also conducts, and has recently conducted Orchestra on the Hill, and would love more conducting... He does own a non-blue viola (and a non-multicoloured recorder) in case there was any doubt...
