Max McWhirter

As a pianist, Max has varied interests that include both performance and composition in the fields of classical, contemporary, experimental, jazz, film and improvised music. During his time at Edinburgh Napier University and the International College of Liberal Arts in Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan; he developed a firm interest in contemporary and improvised music. Max has performed in Edinburgh with fellow students and members of Edinburgh Napier University as part of the piano department, the chamber choir, and in student led concerts playing classical and contemporary music. He is interested in working with anyone who has interest in any field mentioned above, or with anyone who is passionate and open minded about making music; spontaneous or otherwise.
