Martyn Strachan studied at Napier College, Edinburgh and St Andrews University and is primarily a keyboard player and teacher. In recent years he has developed a research interest in nineteenth century British music and recently completed a doctorate at the Open University with a thesis entitled Style in the Music of Arthur Sullivan: An Investigation. He is organist of the Reid Memorial Church in Edinburgh and is also the Office Administrator for Forth Pipe Organs Ltd.
