Very experienced vocalist that can sing different genres of music (Swing, Jazz and Rock). Specializes in vintage music from 1920's to 1970's. Currently Lead Vocalist in the very popular St Louis Express a 7-9 piece Swing Jazz Jump Jive band and jazz duo/trio/ quartet Hot Gin Swing Can also sings solo with backing tracks and some guitar if requested. Specializes in songs from the 1930'-60's Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Louis Prima, Bobby Darrin. 60's- Tom Jones & classic soul, popular hits of the 70's. More recently Michael Buble hits. In duo with Hot Gin Swing, using backing tracks & some guitar. Focusing on Swing/ Jazz standards from the great American songbook. Started singing professionally with the 5 piece Rock band Crosstrax, later with Waxworks on the club circuit. Currently sings at many major festivals, weddings, private and corporate events with St Louis Express band. Cocktail lounges, bars, residential homes with Hot Gin Swing duo. Started singing professionally in 1994 with the band Crosstrax, on club circuit & with rock duo Waxworks 2003- 2012. Specializes in vintage music.

Fabulous evening being entertained by Mark & Louise with some great 50s/60s songs. They got most of the audience participating in the singing and many up dancing. You could tell everyone was having a enjoyable time. We will certainly be looking forward to their next event :) x

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

As long as you give notice to changed times in same day, should be no problem, We are flexible. Changing dates can cause problems as we could be booked or have other arrangements.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, absolutely we have set lists for all types of occasions- Vintage Themed nights, Weddings, Party’s, or pre set disco music. Or just mellow background music. We can play through our PA. We charge a fee for this depending on time required.

How much time do you need to set up?

For full PA, Drums, instruments set up - Minimum of 90 minutes before 1st set start. Background Music can be played 1 hour after start of set up. Ideal arrival time 2 hours before our 1st set start.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes you can, as long as requests are given in plenty of time to fit into our usual sets. Our usual sets have been chosen by playing many, many gigs & working out where best to place particular songs. By giving Notice Weeks before event, we can rehearse prior to event, if song is not one of our regular numbers.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, all our own instruments. Some large venues or festivals provide back line & sound system.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

We can, as long as it’s within style of band.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Lots of Energy, exciting ! We play music with feeling, that you can’t help wanting to dance to, that ignites audiences.

Recently Cheltenham racecourse gold cup room. The Depo & Sophia Gardens Cardiff. Motion in Bristol. Many Hotels, Yacht clubs, Golf clubs.
