Manchester String Quartet

We met in 2003 studying together at the RNCM and Manchester Uni. 20 Years on we have become family, playing at weddings and events all across the country and abroad. We absolutely love what we do and take huge pride in providing the perfect music for each occasion. Our repertoire is huge and we're always adding to it. We play Classical, Jazz, Folk, Film & TV scores as well as current and nostalgic pop! We record many of our tracks so you can check us out on all streaming platforms. We love Manchester and the great pop and rock music that defines the city’s music scene. Over the last few years we have developed an extensive set list of Manchester music by iconic bands such as Joy Division, Elbow, New Order, Happy Mondays, The Courteeners, Stone Roses and many more. All of the Quartet’s Manchester music has been arranged exclusively by our highly talented violinist, Tim Crooks, conductor & arranger of the hugely popular orchestral club show, Haçienda Classical. We also play with all the northern professional Orchestras including the Hallé and BBC Philharmonic, do an extensive amount of education work and write and produce our own music but we love nothing more than to play together as the Manchester String Quartet.
