Bagpiper
West Midlands

I am better known as "Doc" Halliday. Started playing at school (Broughton, Edinburgh). Then 1st Bn The Royal Scots, West Midlands Police. Now solo player. Have travelled the world piping and was Queens Guard piper in 1975 at Ballater. I am left handed, which is quite rare in the piping world. I can do the whole of your Burns night, from playing, to addressing the Haggis and the Immortal Memory. Also a history of the bagpipe and stories of pipe bands at the Edinburgh Tattoo as part of the after dinner entertainment (with pipes). Famous for table walking! Has bagpipes, will travel. Currently breeding rare breed sheep in Solihull and generally able to do weekday gigs if you book well ahead.
