I have been a violin instructor since 2003 teaching with East Glasgow Music School, Aberdeenshire Council, Edinburgh City Council, Berkshire Maestros Windsor & Maidenhead and currently teach for Clackmannanshire Council where I direct the Junior and Senior String Orchestras for Hillfoots Music for Youth. I have also coached violin sectionals for Edinburgh Schools Symphony Orchestra and East Renfrewshire String Orchestras. I am currently teaching on a Youth Music Initiative project for 55 P4/5 children at St Serf's Primary school in Tullibody using the wealth of experience I gained teaching Wider Opportunities during my time with Berkshire Maestros. I have managed Stringsaloud String Quartets since 2005, I am an avid music arranger for both string quartet and for children's orchestras. Stringsaloud have a massive repertoire list including Classical, Jazz, Film, Scottish Traditional (many of our arrangements are contemporary takes on traditional tunes) and a huge selection of pop music. Stringsaloud have much experience performing at weddings, corporate events and session work.
