Luke has been playing guitar professionally for over 10 years, touring around the UK as part of bands and on his own. Currently, he plays solo jazz guitar and in various jazz duos and trios, as well as sitting in with other groups, across the country at restaurants, clubs, bars, weddings, festivals and many other events. Highly professional and reliable, Luke aims to make every performance memorable in whichever capacity (solo or group) he’s playing and for whoever the audience may be. As part of Human Pyramids, Luke has had the opportunity to play some fantastic UK festivals, including End of the Road, 2000 Trees and the West Holts stage at Glastonbury.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try to be flexible and make sure everything works as well as possible for you. If there are any changes to timings, please let me know before hand and I'll do my best to accommodate this. It's your day! I want to make it the best it can be!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide an iPod service between sets, however, this will be played through the equipment available. I travel with a small PA speaker which works well for smaller events and is very easy to play music through. If your event requires and is using a larger PA system, I'm very happy to work out a solution to make the most out of what is available.

How much time do you need to set up?

Depending on system setup - i.e. using my own small PA speaker or integrating this into a larger setup - it usually takes between 45 mins and 1.5 hours to set up.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely. If you have favourites on the list, definitely share them with me and I'll make sure I play them for you. There are some tunes that work particularly well for different types of events, so I do try to tailor sets to the environment / event, but I also want to make sure your event is as enjoyable as possible for you!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I bring a small PA speaker and all guitar equipment. I also bring a microphone which can be used for speeches. This all works well for smaller events / spaces. Larger events will require PA system hire. Depending on your location, I can offer this, however this is an additional cost and may not always be possible.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I'm always expanding my setlist. Some songs work better than others, but I'm more than happy to have a go at arranging your favourite tune for solo guitar / loop based guitar playing. Feel free to let me know if there is something specific you want and I will let you know if it is possible.
