Based in South Wales Lois is a vintage style jazz and swing vocalist, bringing the elegance and charm of the golden age of music to modern audiences. Lois repertoire celebrates the iconic sounds of the 1940’s to 1970’s featuring classics made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra, Nat king Cole, Peggy Lee, Doris Day and Shirley Bassey to name a few. Lois has a warm and engaging stage presence and a love for timeless songs she creates the perfect atmosphere for events. Performing at weddings, corporate events, ballroom dance events, hotels, restaurants, jazz clubs, cocktails bars and residential homes and festivals, to From small intimate venues to large stages (for up to 1000 audience). My repertoire enables me to perform lively songs for all age groups, for dancing or more chilled music for background music. Lois has her own PA (and stage lights if required). Lois always wears appropriate stage clothes to enhance the audiences experience, (sequin gown, vintage attire, afternoon tea dresses) to make a memorable experience for all. Performances can be delivered as solo(with high quality backing tracks) or duo, trio or as a full band with live instrumental backing.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will always endeavour to try my best to accommodate and be flexible for any changes in an event, if timings change slightly in the run up to the event. Just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can offer iPod music before and between sets if required. Please just message me in advance if this is the case so I can plan to accommodate you. If you would like music to be played through my PA after the final set for a period of time, I can usually provide this for an additional fee.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up within an hour before the performance time.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set list is crafted from many of my performances and learning to find out what works best for those who may like to dance or listen. I can build my set lest for upbeat dancing to more mellow background listening. However, Im happy to chat through and make sure I find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I bring all my own equipment (PA, mic, mic stand and can include lighting if required.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn’t included in my song list, I would be happy to learn it. There is a fee of £30 for this service taking into account rehearsal times etc.
