Hi, My name is Libby Lapthorne. I have been a singer/songwriter for 8 years. Whether you want the latest hits, a mix and match, a timeless style or something just for a special event, I will do my best to accomodate for your event. I have a very wide range and have been performing everything from singing at Garsington Opera House to pub gigs an parties. I always arrive early and prepared to avoid any delays that might happen, I am very happy to learn songs given a good amount of time and of course if they suit my style of music and voice, but very happy to take requests.

Booked Libby for my Wife’s surprise 30th Birthday party after seeing her perform in a local pub for Valentine's. Libby was super throughout the booking process and created a playlist of songs as well as taking requests on the night. This was the highlight of my wife’s birthday and I can’t thank Libby and her assistant enough, even helping with an extension lead issue in the marquee. Now onto her signing, Phenomenal! Didn’t matter what song it was, she sang them with ease, kept the party going all night. During her short breaks (my wife commented after she’d been signing nearly 3 hours solid) she’d created another playlist of background music. Highly recommended!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I incorporate the audience in all of my performances, getting everyone to sing and dance and make the experience more memorable and enjoyable.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

The Woolpack in Stoke Mandeville, The Broad leys in Aylesbury, Live in the Park festival Ayelsbury.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Taylor swift, Ed Sheeran, Shania Twain i have been influenced by so many artists its hard to pick just one, but those are a few who really became my idols of music.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I try to be as flexible as possible on the day, so if the timings on the day change just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I will provide music on an ipad in between sets

How much time do you need to set up?

i need about 30 minutes to set up my equipment

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

i have many different set lists which i will sen you to choose from and if you want to create your own with songs not from set lists that costs a bit more.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

i bring all of my equipment so you don't have to worry at all

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

i can learn most songs within my vocal range, if you let me know ahead of time i am sure i can learn it for you.
