Customer questions
What do your clients love most about your performances?
Consumate professional through and through. Always trying my best to put the client at ease, before and during the show. Nothing is too much trouble in order to try and give that extra special something.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
This would be a long list! Lots of wedding venues in the south east, pubs, clubs, village halls, houses! I recently played a funeral, which was surreal but I was honoured to be asked.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
This varies every week! With my guitar playing, I would say at the moment, John Martyn, John Mayer, Eric Clapton. Singing, i'm going through a Stevie Wonder phase again, but love Joni Mitchell and James Taylor.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
This is tricky, but I think Glastonbury was a real highlight!
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
Get in touch! I'm always flexible to ensure that your special event is exactly how you picture it!
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
My PA system has connectivity for blutooth and analogue connections, and I am more than happy to play a playlist or set the tone of the event when I am not performing. This is a free service up until the end of my playing period, but more than happy to discuss this!
How much time do you need to set up?
I always like to be at the venue an hour before playing to ensure the client is happy with where we're setting up, there's a correct power source etc and also to get the setup looking as professional as possible - nothing worse than having guitar cases in the back of brilliant photos!
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
Of course! If there are specific songs you would like me to play for you, I will happily create a set specific to your event. Again, contact me in advance with any requests. I also ask the question of songs you DONT want to hear, just so everything is covered!
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes! All of my gear is with me.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
Yes! Get in touch to discuss what I can perform to make your event extra special. Communication is key!
