• Lehlin Thai is a postgraduate soprano from the Royal Northern College of Music, studying with Deborah Rees and Jonathan Fisher. She also works with coaches Russell Medley, Kevin Thraves, Robin Humphreys and Catherine Hall Smith.
• Lehlin has received the RNCM Scholarship for her Master of Music.
• Notable operatic roles and credits: Venus in Offenach’s Orpheus in the Underworld, Myrtle in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene (cover), Moth in Britten’s A Midsummer Night's Dream, Ida in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, 2nd Woman in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Echo in Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos (scenes) and Flora in Britten’s Turn of the Screw (scenes); Chorus in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore, and also Chorus in Verdi’s Un ballo in Maschera.
• Besides opera, Lehlin is an active chamber musician and performs regularly in recitals around the UK and in Singapore. Some of these chamber works include Piano, Clarinet and Voice trio, String Ensemble and Voice, and also Guitar and Voice duo.
