Laverne Wynter

Laverne is a passionate and talented vocalist based in the UK, known for her soulful and heartfelt sound. She loves connecting with her audience through music, bringing warmth and energy to every performance across genres. When Laverne isn’t entertaining guests at weddings and private events, she’s out touring with The House and Garage Orchestra, singing backing vocals for some of the most iconic House and Garage artists. She’s also had the privilege of performing at special events like the King’s Coronation concert with MDL Singers, and working alongside top producers like Fraser T. Smith. Additionally, she’s performed backing vocals for Future Utopia’s album launch ‘Django’s High’. Her love for performing goes beyond live gigs—Laverne has played the role of Florence Ballard in the UK theatre show In the Name of Love: The Diana Ross Story. This role showcased her vocal range and stage presence on national stages, bringing to life the iconic hits of Diana Ross and The Supremes.
