Laura was a Junior Exhibitioner at the Royal College of Music and continued her studies at Nottingham University and the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, Holland. Laura enjoys a varied freelance career, which has encompassed numerous National and International tours including a 3 month tour of the USA with London City Opera. As an orchestral musician, Laura has performed at all of the major UK concert venues with established orchestras. As a chamber musician Laura has performed at venues around the country, including a recital with the Boccherini String Trio at the London School of Economics (October 2005). As a soloist Laura has performed the Mozart, Strauss and Vaughan Williams oboe concertos. She has also given several oboe and piano recitals in London. Laura's theatre work includes several national tours and West End productions. She took part in The Thursford Christmas Spectacular in 2002. Laura plays a Marigaux Oboe and a Loree Cor Anglais, happily doubling on saxophones, clarinet and flute for shows.
