Laura Harvey

Laura grew up in a family that loved music. Her parents raised her listening to the likes of The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Who and Dire Straits. Laura spent alot of time with her grandparents who introduced her to Motown, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie and lots more. During her childhood she developed a taste for Madonna, Michael Jackson, Ace of Base and East 17. As a teenager she discovered a love for dance music specifically House, Garage and Drum n Bass. Over the years Laura has attended many festivals and dance music events. Music has always been her number one passion. Laura initially took up DJ’ing as a fun hobby but within a year she started getting booked at some of Londons most famous nightclubs. Laura has played numerous times at The Ministry of Sound, Egg Club (London), 93 Feet East (Shoreditch), Protocol (Vauxhall), Fire (Vauxhall), IPSE (Berlin), the infamous Kings Day in (Amsterdam), ADE Festival (Amsterdam), Nikki Beach (Koh Samui Thailand), and Basinghouse (Shoreditch) where she is now a resident DJ. She has played alongside DJ legends Seb Fontaine, Green Velvet, Kerri Chandler & Amine Edge to name a few. On the corporate and wedding side Laura has DJ'ed at 100's of weddings and private events. Some of them very cool and others more opulent. She has even played Arabic music for a royal family from the middle east and has been booked to DJ at some incredibly prestigious venues like Ladies Day Royal Ascot, Vintri & Mercer Hotel (City) Claridges, The Dorcester, The Hilton (Park Lane), Notting Hill Arts Club, Plaisterers Hall (City), Glaziers Hall (London Bridge), The Four Seasons (Hampshire), The Grove Hotel (Watford), Digitas (Brick Lane), Anantara Lawana (Koh Samui) and Villa Eva (Ravello Italy), Luxury Villas Pianciano (Tuscany), MarbellaVilla (hippopotamus beach marbella) aswell as events like Workday Rising Europe and Reed Technology Expo at Olympia and many more. Laura has an appreciation for all styles of music from Heart FM, to Garage, to Old Skool, to Pop Classics, to House music, to Drum n Bass, to old RnB, to Funk, Disco, Soul, Electro Swing and Techno. This is what sets her apart from so many other DJs she genuinely loves and has a passion for it all and is capable of playing any genre you like. Laura has DJ'ed at numerous birthday parties, weddings, functions, beach clubs, day parties and corporate events all over the world.
