Music and singing is by far my favourite thing to do in the world! It’s my escape, and I love being able to share my passion for music with others. I don’t hold many formal qualifications in music, other than an A-level and a grade 5 in piano, however, I do have over 30 years performance experience, ranging from dance to musical theatre and more recently as part of a 4 piece rock/pop band. My performing highlights so far include playing leading roles Including the wedding, Singer, Footloose, and Boogie Nights performed in several musicals performed at the Old Rep, The Crescent, and various venues across Birmingham. The musical theatre, whilst it is one of my favourite genres, is not my only style! My songbook includes wide-ranging and eclectic songs and genres, which I hope would suit most occasions and audiences. I’m willing and able to consider pretty much any genre! I am available for small, intimate, gatherings and or large-scale events.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I’m energetic, personable and happy to interact with the audience if appropriate. My music taste and therefore my set list is wide reaching and eclectic so I am likely to be able to appeal to most audiences.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Theatres, bars, clubs, village halls, town halls, schools, fayres, outdoor events…..you name it I have probably performed in it!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston, Adele, LeAnn Rimes, April Lavigne, Paramore, Evanescence

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I have performed musical theatre since I was 14. Most recently I played Cinderella in the pantomime of the same name to a sell-out audience in November 2023. This performance won our musical theatre company a NODA award for best pantomime for our district!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know as soon as possible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and I actually offer this service for free. I don’t offer a DJ service but would be able to recommend a DJ upon request.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for my live performance!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, I’m definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely, I can bring my own PA system and microphones.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I am more than happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
