Laura is an experienced harpist who graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of music and dance with a Bachelor and Master's degree in Performance. Laura won the international competition ‘Città di Cagliari’ and the award for best Sardinian harpist, and from then on, she began her professional career, playing with the Orquestra Joven de Extremadura in Spain, the Orchestra del Teatro Lirico in Sardinia and many others besides. Not limited to just classical music, Laura has also played with Eminem live at the MTV Awards in 2017, and currently releasing an album with the artist Liana Cornell.

Laura played at our wedding last year and we couldn't be happier that we booked her. She made the whole process so easy, from booking to helping me pick a song to walk down the aisle to. We received so many compliments from guests on Laura's beautiful playing and it really tied the whole ceremony together. 100% recommend Laura - she was absolutely fab!

I was lucky enough to hear Laura in both a rehearsal/Masterclass on Glinka, and in a fantastically passionate and accomplished solo performance at Trinity. As a result I followed Laura to the Waldorf, where I heard her adapt to play lighter pop and folk music. I would highly recommend Laura. Kathryn

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually require 30 minutes to set up and tune the instrument.

Is the transport of your harp included in your quote?

Absolutely - I've include all travel costs, including the transport of my harp, in the quotes.

Do you need any equipment provided to play outdoors?

My instrument is played acoustically so I don't need any equipment. If playing outside, I usually ask for a solid platform to position the instrument, and if it is raining then I will need full cover or to perform indoors as my instrument is valuable and could be damaged.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My repertoire lists is crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests have an amazing time. However, I'm definitely happy to chat through and make sure to find what works for your event.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I'm happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
