Lady Rose are an award-winning duo based in Nottingham, they recently went on tour as support for Postmodern Jukebox across the UK(2024 & 2025) and opened for Alfie Boe during 2024, performing at many of the country's most prestigious music venues including The Royal Albert Hall, The London Palladium, Cambridge Corn Exchange, Manchester Opera House, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall and many more. Joanne and James perform with a combination of Acoustic Guitar, Ukulele, Electric Guitar and professional backing tracks to create a full and impressive sound. They have an ever growing, expansive set list of popular hits from across the decades and genres and also offer DJ as an additional option for events. Together, the pair perform a wonderfully varied mix of covers to keep the party going. They take on requested songs for Weddings and Birthdays, going above and beyond to ensure an extra special soundtrack is created and delivered to guests at any event. The pair have a rapidly growing, online following of over 56,000 and millions of views on their videos. Married couple James and Joanne draw inspiration from many of the great artists of our times, they bring hits from the past back to life and add a little something special to modern day chart toppers. Lady Rose were fantastic! Joanne was great at communicating and the sets they did for our wedding were brilliant. All our guests said how good they were. If ever I were to plan another event that needed live music I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. Everything, from booking, communication, setting up, the performance, to packing away was all very professional and just made our lives easier so thank you!

I finally got to see Lady Rose live last night after hearing so much about them. What a duo! Their performance was first class. Amazing vocals and song choices and they have such a wonderful energy on stage. They were also very lovely to chat to which is always a great bonus.

We first saw Lady Rose at our friends wedding and thought they were amazing. I didn’t think twice about asking them to perform at my birthday party last year, and again for our wedding. Not only are they fantastic at what they do, they are also some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I would recommend Lady Rose 150% ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This covers the full evening of your celebration party or wedding evening reception with a mix of live sets and DJ music from around 7pm until midnight. We keep the music flowing throughout the whole evening. We cover a wide variety of music, with something for everyone and guests of all ages. We perform an acoustic set as guests arrive and two, more upbeat sets during the evening mixed with DJ music. We are able to take requests and lighting is included.

We perform for the ceremony, drinks reception and evening reception. We include DJ with the evening reception and can play background music/perform at the wedding breakfast too if needed. We learn your requested ceremony songs and a first dance. Specific details would be discussed and agreed beforehand.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We performed to 5,000 people at The Royal Albert Hall whilst opening for Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox in April 2025 and 4,000 at Skegness Embassy Theatre whilst opening for Alfie Boe in 2024.

Do you have different line-up options?

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Just keep us fully informed, changes for event timings aren't usually an issue, we can be flexible. This can be arranged through the encore booking or with us directly

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we include this as standard but an additional charge will apply if we are needed for longer. It works well to have us take care of the background music as we can make sure it flows well with the live sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

We arrive 1 hour before our start time to ensure sufficient time to set up and sound checked. Every venue is different so we like to make sure we have thoroughly checked the sound in the space.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes, we have a wireless mic and wireless guitar so we are able to do roam whilst performing if this is a requirement. I (singer) tend to dance around with guests as my wireless mic allows for this.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You can choose some of the songs you like from our repertoire but we do not allow bookers to fully dictate our set and order. After years of experience we are able to Play our sets in a way which flows nicely and keeps guests engaged.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, we just need a plug socket and we provide the rest. We have a large PA and a small portable PA to cater for all events big and small. Our small PA is wireless so we can use it for outdoor performances where electricity isn't available.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes we can as long as enough time is given. There may be a fee for this but we would always discuss before committing to learning a new song.
