Born as the natural extension of the guitar duo La Java Swing, La Java Swing Quartet is a gathering of busy musicians from the London scene that are aiming to recreate the sound of Paris in the 1900, together with the excitement of early swing played a' la' Django Reinhardt!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are joyful and dedicated to what we do! We love the music we play and believe in delivering an outstanding performance!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

At the moment we are a fairly new project. As the band itself, we have performed at Nobu Restaurant, London. Individually as musicians, we have separately played at Ronnie Scott, Royal Albert Hall, Primo Bar, Bulls Head, and many different venues across London and beyond.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Django Reinhardt, Billie Holiday, Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Stochelo Rosenberg, Fapi Lafertin.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Nobu Restaurant in Mayfair, London.

Do you have different line-up options?

La Java Swing Quartet can also perform as 2 guitar duo, 2 guitars and double bass instrumental trio, or a trio with 2 guitars and singer.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

This is not something we are offering at the moment.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 30mins to 1 hour before the performance time.

Can you roam around while you perform?

This is not something we are offering at the moment.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our quote includes the hiring of the musicians, and our individual amplification.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We tend to focus on the songs we perform as those are representing the sound we want to deliver for our project, however we can discuss specific requests. If the songs would fit our style of performance, we can aim to arrange them and include them in our setlist for the event.

We booked La Java Swing Quartet to play at our Lounge Bar in Mayfair. Their music is upbeat, fresh and lively, they played flawlessly and created a classy atmosphere. Our clients enjoyed the performance and gave us a very positive feedback too. Very professional to deal with, it’s a quartet with a high level of musicianship and great at entertaining the audience, highly recommended!
