K Novella is an R&B singer/ songwriter based in Birmingham. She moved to the city to pursue a career in Psychology and discovered songwriting as a therapeutic outlet. After the release of her debut single “sober”, K Novella decided it was time to release the rest of the EP to go with it. “TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN”. The release details the live stages of grief she faced during a breakup and gives us a glimpse into now she used songwriting as an escape from It. The original songs were all written, performed and produced by K Novella herself, with help from collaborators Eli and Tinashe on the guitar and keyboard respectively. A launch event for the EP was held at The Actress and Bishop location in birmingham on 27th April 2023, with supporters and industry professionals alike praising the tracks and K Novella's candidness when talking about the meaning behind them. “ Raw and honest truths sang with liquid smooth runs paired with a magnetising falsetto” -Midy Mag
