A versatile lounge pianist in Essex - specialising in chilled, cocktail and relaxing solo versions of pop songs from the 1960s to the 2020s!

I am an East Anglia and London based pianist / organist with over 10 years performing experience. I am available for booking for lounge sessions, piano bar work, cocktail piano, background piano, piano while you dine (including weddings). My niche is being able to turn popular songs into slow, mellow piano pieces and play them with flair. Who would've thought 'All Star' by Smash Mouth or 'Bittersweet Symphony' by The Verve sound awesome while you drink and dine in a high end venue?! I also have repertoires in the following genres: - Classical - Jazz / Blues - TV and Film (including some awesome and timeless theme tunes!) - Christian Hymns (traditional and modern) - Masonic I play the organ at many masonic lodges throughout Essex and London. Whilst not classically trained, having piano as a hobby for over 25 years has given me a priceless passion which I enjoy more and more each day. I've never been forced into learning and allow my passion to guide me musically, meaning practising isn't a chore - culminating in music played beautifully and with a smile. What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Please contact me at the earliest opportunity - I will try to accommodate you as best I can.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Unfortunately I cannot at this time, I have reflected this in my price.

How much time do you need to set up?

As long as your piano is powered / tuned / there then not long at all!

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Absolutely! I only play at venues who provide their own piano, organ or keyboard at this time.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course! However, a basic overview of what you need can be discussed and I can create a good setlist to suit the mood for you.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Not at this time.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Absolutely! I love practising at home, so there will be no charge for this. However, I cannot guarantee I'll be able to learn it in time. I'll try my utmost best!
