Norton Green Ceilidh Band consists of a competent lady accordionist playing a £6000.00 accordion with a V3 Sound Box that plays all the instruments of a band, and coming with her is myself the caller with nearly 40 years of experience in calling after running my Folk Dance Club every week. Please do not be put off by only one musician when you hear the sound you will be amazed it sounds as though there are three or four musicians. You do not need a full stage of people playing many instruments taking lots of room up, and charging the earth. We cover your evening doing you two spots of about an hour and a quarter with our break to coincide with your super or buffet being served. We also come along with our own P.A. system that is Pat Tested and up to date. We also have full Public Liability Insurance that most venues now require when booking a band. All our dances are very easy and are walked through before the music is played, even then I keep on calling when it is being played. We also play sing-along tunes in-between dances while you are resting, just to keep the party going. We will play up to four hours as long as we get a short break, times are up to you. Please do not be put off by our low quote we do this as a hobby and do not like to see clients ripped off by some bands charging exorbitant prices. We like to leave knowing the client is happy with the night we did then we can go away home satisfied job well done.
