I am a classically trained singer, based in West Sussex. I attained my BA Hons at the University of Chichester Conservatoire with a first class degree in Screen Acting and Music Performance. I’ve been singing different genres of music as a soloist and in groups for around ten years and have attended many masterclasses and even trained with an ex-Kings singer. I enjoy spreading music to all communities for all kinds of events including weddings, care homes, birthday parties, funerals and competitions.

Katie is a consummate professional and has a beautiful voice. She is diligent in preparation for all performances and recently sang soprano solos in Arundel Cathedral. Highly recommended.

I regularly employ Katie as a soprano soloist in choral concerts which I direct in Sussex. She recently performed with my East Sussex Bach Choir in a concert performance of Purcell Fairy Queen. She performed with a real awareness of style and showed a bright, agile vocal timbre, very suited to this Baroque period of vocal music. Katie has a warm, engaging stage presence, and is a highly committed and talented young artist.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will try my absolute best to cater to your timings. Occasionally I may have other commitments that I will have to consider but I will communicate this with you and we can come to a conclusion together.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Of course. Providing you let me know ahead of time what kind of set list you’d like I can pop something on my speaker for you. Alternatively, you may send me your own Spotify playlist to make sure it is exactly what you want. This will cost an additional £25.

How much time do you need to set up?

This depends on the venue and what kind of facilities they have. I will aim to arrive around 45 minutes before I begin to allow time for moving equipment etc.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely. So long as I have at least a weeks notice, this will be fine.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes I do!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If you let me know which song(s) it is, I will take into account whether I will have the time to rehearse it to performance standard by the time of the event. This may not be possible for all songs.
