Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem! As long as I'm informed I can be flexible with timings

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

yes I can, I can either provide my own playlist or use one that you've prepared in advance!

How much time do you need to set up?

Preferably an hour to ensure everything is correctly set up and no Gremlins come out just before the performance!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

The setlist is designed for flow and mood and is adaptable to crowd reactions, but if there are a few specific songs you would like to hear then please ask me in advance and i will do my best to incorporate them (within reason, obviously myself singing "I'm every woman" clearly would not work!! haha!)

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes I do,

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Of course i can, but please give me enough time to prepare the song, at least a week!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I'm very energetic when I'm onstage, and enjoy interacting with the audience

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Eastbourne Airbourne festival, Brighton Pride, O'neills in Soho, Concorde 2 Brighton, South Bank centre, Drury Lane Theatre, Phoenix Arts Club, Norfest, Montauroux Aioli Festival, The Jetty @ Lake Garda,

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

so many!! I've always been open to a wide range of music.... Freddy Mercury and David Bowie are both legends, Radiohead The bends was my first ever album, I was obsessed with The Who in my mid 20s, idolised the Foo Fighters while I was in college, worked in an 80s tribute act for 5 years with Simple Minds and Erasure being my favourite songs in the show, etc

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The Main stage at Brighton Pride was probably the biggest audience I've had, thousands upon thousands of people watching and singing along!

Hi Karl, I meant to write earlier before Christmas to congratulate you and the. band on a wonderful performance at Sues 50th . I really do think it was top stuff. The songs chosen were great, the volume was at a sensible level so we could carry on talking, lead singer was, as we know, hot stuff, and you succeeded in getting nearly everyone up to dance. I was impressed and so were many other people as we have been talking about it as and when we bumped into each other. Well done. Keep up the talent and the passion and the fun.

The Wahoos were the entertainment for my wedding day and they were amazing! Really fun energetic band who professionally and kindly were flexible with their performance considering the speeches ran a lot over time!! Thanks guys, you really helped make our day!!
