Jules Blyth is a jazz singer/songwriter and pianist who performs with her partner Will on bass guitar. They play in bars, restaurants, riverboats both in the UK and in Europe and love nothing more than to create a welcoming and memorable atmosphere for any event. In 2022 they made and started releasing their first original album and have had close to 1000 streams. On a recent European tour they were delighted to play in some beautiful bars on the Albanian Riviera as well as being the first jazz band to play in the gorgeous old bazaar of the city of Korce. Jules' own songs blend heartfelt lyrics with catchy melodies and richly-textured harmonies with a jazz/neo-soul flavour. Her influences range from Carole King, Joan Armatrading, George Benson and Stevie Wonder, to vocalist jazz greats such as Nancy Wilson and Sarah Vaughan. She and Will perform a great range of jazz standards with a fresh spin as well as some well-known Latin numbers and soul tunes.

My husband and I had Jules and Will play during our drinks and canapés reception at our wedding. The music was beautiful and created the most perfect atmosphere. Both ourselves and our guests really enjoyed listening, the feedback from the guests was amazing, the positive feedback hasn’t stopped even a week later! We are so happy to have had Jules and Will play at our wedding. We cannot recommend them highly enough for any special occasion, especially weddings!

Our line-up is always Jules (vocals/keys) and Will (bass guitar) and we have other musicians who join us for bookings where a bigger band is required.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know and we will do our very best to accommodate small changes.

How much time do you need to set up?

We need less than an hour to set up and have all our own equipment suitable for a small to medium venue.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We are experienced at creating a balanced and interesting set for any event. We can work with you to create a great set list for your event and will try to accommodate any special requests.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We use a Bose L1 Pro8 PA system, giving unrivalled sound coverage, ideal for a small-medium venue. Whether sitting, standing, or at the bar none of your guests will miss a thing. For large venues we would need extra PA equipment for which we would charge an additional fee TBC.
