Jonty Hedges

I am a fun-loving and diverse musician who has performed professionally from the age of 14. I grew up in a musical household where my parents and brothers all perform for a living. Please read on to see what I can offer you. My primary instrument is the flute. I have experience in classical orchestras, pantomimes, theatre, concertos, chamber music groups, solo entertainment sets and jazz flute. Having graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire and been taught by Michael Cox for several years previous, I am a flexible, easy-going flautist with a wealth of experience. One highlight would be my performance of the Ibert Flute Concerto. My second love is drums. I have experience in pantomime's, wedding bands, Warner Leisure hotel house band and theatre productions. Finally, the piano was my first instrument, as with most professionals. I currently perform solo entertainment sets on the keyboard and singing. These sets are suitable for parties, weddings, and pub gigs. Although if you don't want me centre stage, I am more than happy to do 'background music sets' if that is what you would prefer. All in all, I have a lot to offer you in either performance or behind the scenes. I enjoy music tech, arranging popular songs and teaching - any musical challenge and I am your man.
