Jodi Davies

Jodi Davies is a singer and vocal coach based in Birmingham. With over 13 years of performing experience under her belt she has a highly-regarded reputation within the music business and is well-known for her pitch perfect performances and versatile vocals. As a live performer she is regularly compared to artistes such as Janis Joplin, Christina Aguilera, Anastacia and Adele and lauded for her heavy-soul vocals in particular. Jodi has an exceptional ability to perform in a wide range of styles yet still sound unmistakably authentic as herself. Jodi graduated from the University of West London with a first class honours degree in Popular Music and Performance. Whilst studying she had the opportunity to work with a variety of music professionals who were all unanimous in their praise of not just her stunning vocal performances, but also her work ethic, attention to detail and flexible approach. During her time at University Jodi was voted the Top Vocalist of 2011 by a panel of industry experts. She has subsequently been dubbed “a melodic virtuoso” and “an assured performer who instantly puts audiences at ease.” Using her training in a myriad of contemporary vocal styles including Pop, Rock, Soul and Jazz, Jodi has performed as a lead singer and guest vocalist with a diverse mix of bands and vocal groups including Flipside Up, Motown Gold and The Lovettes. She is currently the lead singer with the always-in-demand Jump Music Duo and as such has performed around the world providing entertainment for multi-national companies such as Xanterra Parks and Resorts and The Walt Disney Company. Jodi also has a wealth of experience in the recording studio and has appeared as a featured artist on tracks by No Wonder and Bespoke. She has worked extensively with hip hop producer i.V. and has also recorded with U.S. singer/songwriter Chris Poulson and choral group LJB Voices.
