Jiggered are a 4-piece Scottish ceilidh band and we’re immensely fond of our wee country’s musical heritage. You’ll pick that up from the moment you hear us. With a line-up of guitar, keyboard, fiddle, drums and vocals, we take some of Scotland’s most beloved traditional tunes, often blended with your favourite pop crowdpleasers, and create the contemporary Jiggered sound that has been adored by crowd after crowd for the past 20 years. From Gay Gordons to Strip The Willow, Proud Mary to 500 Miles, and Caledonia to Auld Lang Syne, Jiggered bring a contemporary twist to traditional Scottish music. We’ve provided the soundtrack to hundreds of special occasions across the UK and beyond, so you can trust us to strike the right chord with you and your guests. We have been bringing ceilidh dances to events across Scotland, the UK and Ireland since 2002 and with a number of crowd-pleasing cover sets in our repertoire, it is fair to say we are well rehearsed for every occasion and can tailor our performances to your exact requirements. We perform regularly in Glasgow and Edinburgh and are available to hire for celebrations and events in these two cities or further afield around Scotland or beyond. From ancient Irish castles to state-of-the-art function suites, our set-up caters for venues of all shapes, styles and sizes. Of course, a wedding is a highly personal affair and we strive to accommodate specific requests in our sets, which can be tailored to mix traditional Scottish dances with classic well-loved covers that are sure to get the crowd going! We are often asked to learn a live version of the bride and groom’s first dance and we are always honoured to do so.
