Elegant, unique and intricate twists on both contemporary and classic songs. Music that intrigues, excites and ensnares to enhance a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. My clients remember me for my smoky vocal tone and a sophisticated yet edgy performance style. My specialities cover the genres of pop, jazz, rock, lounge, soundtrack and folk. I strive to create poignant and interesting arrangements of very well-known tracks spanning over the last five decades. Make your event sparkle.

Jess was absolutely brilliant. Not only was she an amazing musician, she was more than happy to accommodate all our requests. She was also available to have a call with us to go through the running order and plan our music. Would absolutely recommend!

We booked Jess for my parents 35th wedding anniversary and she was perfect. Great value for money. Had extensive song list for all age groups to enjoy. Set everything up on time. She sang some lovely songs through dinner which got everyone in a good party mood. Would defintly look to book for future events.

We asked Jess to play at our wedding this May and could not be happier. She was happy to learn and play all the songs we requested for our ceremony - some of which were a little non traditional! Her communication was spot on and we were very relaxed on the day. Our guests were very complimentary! Music helped make our wedding really special and we can’t thank her enough.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I can be flexible, I want to make sure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If there is a drastic change, we can rearrange pricing to suit - no problem!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can indeed! There is no charge for this. Just give me an idea of the mood your after and I can create a playlist to suit you.

How much time do you need to set up?

Usually under an hour, but I like to arrive in plenty of time to ensure the sound is the best it can be.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, of course - as long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then I'm happy to play on it!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes definitely. If you prefer to give me a few examples of what you like, I can also craft a set list for you that works with your tastes.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes - I have a Korg SV1 with brilliant piano sounds and PA I can provide.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £60 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Different and unique song choices and interesting arrangements - I love the classics but enjoy giving them a twist. I'm a lover of good songwriters, I tend to avoid the average cheesy tracks if I can! I have a background in Gypsy, Punk and Rock bands, so my clients love my alternative take on repertoire and smoky vocals.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Royal Festival Hall The Shard Wilton's Music Hall Shepherd's Bush Empire Glastonbury Festival 2014 The Ned Nobu Mayfair The Science Musuem Rubens At The Palace London Hilton Hyde Park White City & Shoreditch House Park Plaza Riverbank Lord's Cricket Ground Bush Hall Montague on the Gardens Under the Bridge - Chelsea Shacklewell Arms

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Regina Spektor Joni Mitchell Nina Simone Tori Amos Elton John Stevie Wonder Ray Charles The Beatles The Eagles Led Zeppellin System Of A Down Adele Eva Cassidy Fleetwood Mac Mamas and Papas Billie Holliday

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Either Shepherd's Bush Empire supporting To Kill A King or Under The Bridge supporting the Beautiful South.
