Jehanne Bastoni is a cellist who's love of music has taken her across the world. Born in Australia in 1988, Jehanne obtained her Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Waikato, New Zealand, having previously studied at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music at the National University of Singapore. Currently residing in the UK, Jehanne has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and Orchestra member in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Italy, Switzerland to name a few. As well as her background in classical music, a desire to explore the full range and capabilities of the instrument has led Jehanne to develop a keen interest in playing and performing a wide variety of music, from contemporary, to folk and world music.
