Customer questions
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Frank Sinatra, Ella Fiztgerald, Nat King Cole, Postmodern Jukebox.
Do you have different line-up options?
Yes.
Our standard line up is 5 piece - vocals, keyboard (or piano if your venue has one), double bass, drums and sax.
We can also perform as a 4 piece, trio, duo and solo acts.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We are very flexible and will adapt as much as possible on the day. The contract will state a latest end time and an earliest start time. If you need to change these, 90% of the time, we can do so - the only time it would be a problem is if we are going to another event from there (or are coming from another booking.)
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set, we will also so this until midnight for free.
How much time do you need to set up?
If it's the full 4 or 5 piece we ask for 2 hours. We are usually done much quicker, but this gives us time to allow for any difficulties we may encounter with different venues.
The trio can be set up in 90 minutes.
Duo can be set up in 60 minutes.
Solo can be set up in 30 minutes.
Can you roam around while you perform?
Yes if we perform an acoustic set. We often change the line up for this so we may add jazz guitar instead of keyboard.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
You can make one special request that we will learn specifically for you. Then you are also welcome to choose some favourites from our set list.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
PA is. Lighting isn't included but we can add this on as an extra if you wish.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
Yes - we ask for a months notice please.
