I used to be a singer for 20 years performing hits from the 30's up to the present day, and most things in between! Due to illness the voice has deserted me but the set list on the piano is still pretty much the same fun songs flowing in an almost endless medley! I've been so fortunate to have performed at some incredible venues across the globe, such as The Ritz, Claridges, and many hotels in Dubai, and The Joburg Theatre in South Africa. I've held residences at The Savoy, and Rubens Hotels in London and am a preferred supplier of event music at Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons, Oxfordshire. I have performed to audiences of 6 people at a Come Dine With Me event, up to approximately 10,000 people at Royal Ascot. I have a huge repertoire of songs to choose from, covering many different styles, from swing to pop, musical theatre to rock, and I like to think that I am able to adapt to the mood instantly, making sure that the audience are as much a part of the event as possible, leaving you feeling secure that you can enjoy your event safe in the knowledge the entertainment is in good hands. I was really happy with Jamie. He called before arriving, he arrived when he said he would and he played some awesome music- He's truly talented! I apologised that we were a little behind schedule when he arrived - Sorry again! But he was cool with this and understood. Jamie is a top bloke and I would definitely book him again and would buy him a pint if I were to see him out n about. I'd highly recommend Jamie - Get and book him!

Jamie was absolutely fantastic performing at our wedding this Thursday. All of our guests enjoyed dancing and singing along with Jamie and he managed to get nearly everybody up!! Came earlier than expected and stayed having a drink and chat with people after. Sang every song requested and sang our wedding song beautiful. We had a small intimate wedding and having Jamie as our singer really finished off a perfect day. Really lovely person will recommend to everyone!!! Thankyou again Jamie!

Jamie was brilliant - he was there but not overwhelming and not to loud. He was great at meshing songs together and putting his own slant on songs . All my guest loved him and have not stopped asking how did I find him - thank you so much for contributing to Jason’s 50th birthday celebration

Jamie played fantastically at our wedding! He was incredibly flexible with timings and did a brilliant version of our first dance! Jamie played after dinner, encouraging guests through from the dining room and created a brilliant atmosphere. After our first dance, he played another requested song for a father and daughter dance and by the end was playing with some of our guests. We are so appreciative of his flexibility and enjoyed his set massively - some great classics! Thanks, Hannah and Tom :) =

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Within reason that'll almost never be a problem. Unless by timing change you mean 3 days later - but let's chat. Seldom ever an issue

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can indeed provide a set list of music rather than a DJ set where I'm hovering picking each song as it comes up.

How much time do you need to set up?

30 Mins, but depends slightly on how close I can park! Very simple set up, and even quicker if the venue has a piano - just walk in, flick my coat tails over the piano stool and I'm good to go!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course, but feel free to speak with me beforehand as some songs have the same title as others so make sure you're asking for the right one - although I've Got A Brand New Combine Harvester tends to be the only one

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Absolutely.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Of course, given a reasonable amount of time to learn if it's more complex. Always happy to try a song on the night, or a section of, even if it's not one I'm familiar with - especially if it's for someone else, either a nice pick or even a wind up!
