What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
Honestly, I’ve performed at some huge well renowned venues such as The Royal Albert Hall in front of some massive audiences, but i always feel like the most important ones are marriage ceremonies.
It’s a special moment in time for two people and getting the performance and mood just right is far more important to me.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
No big deal!…
I’ll work with you to fine tune timings to suit your event, and if you need me to play for longer I can provide a new quote. Just let me know.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Yep! No problem, and no extra charge. We can discuss what other kind of music you like, so I’ll try and include this in the playlist.
How much time do you need to set up?
1 hour. I’ll setup the PA first so I can get a playlist going for you whilst I prepare the rest of my gear!
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
I’ll develop my set list to help build atmosphere at the right times, and to best suit your event (not to mention helping preserve my voice!) I’m happy to discuss any specific requests or songs you’d like at a specific time, in a phone/video consultation.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes! If there’s a piano on site, I might use that instead of my Nord Stage keyboard, especially if it’s a nice big grand piano!
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
Absolutely. We can discuss this as part of a phone/video consultation. Bear in mind it takes time to learn songs and craft them to work for my style, as well as learn lyrics. So one or two songs might be fine, 20 or 30 might be a bit of an ask!
