James Ure is a multi-talented musician hailing from Scarborough, North Yorkshire. With both of his Grandparents being professional trombonists, Ure was persuaded into music from a very early age and has experience playing a multitude of instruments, from ukulele to sousaphone. Having majored in solo tuba performance at the University of Huddersfield, Ure has performed with many different ensembles playing a huge range of different styles. As well as playing in many different bands, James has many contacts in the music industry and could organise any musical requirements for any type of event.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know

How much time do you need to set up?

I mainly play without any PA system so set up time is minimal. This would change if a PA system was necessary.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes, if requested before the event any request can be performed.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play acoustically

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes of course!
