Hi, I’m Ingrid – a proud Irish vocalist with a passion for performance, and a voice that’s taken me from the heart of Dublin to stages all over the world. My journey began at just seven years old when I won an all-Dublin singing competition in The Liberties, Dublin. That moment sparked something in me, and I’ve never looked back. Music has always been a huge part of who I am. I was honoured to be one of the first female choristers in what had been an all-male choir at Christchurch Cathedral, a moment that meant a great deal to me both musically and personally. I went on to study musical theatre at the National Performing Arts School (NPAS) and trained under the legendary Dr Veronica Dunne at the Leinster School of Music, where I learned my vocal skills. It allowed me to explore a wide range of genres and really find my own voice — one that can shift from powerful pop to pure classical, from heartfelt musical theatre to soulful jazz, energetic dance tracks, and of course, the rich traditions of Irish music in both English and Irish. I’ve been lucky to perform in some wonderful productions. I played the lead in Cinderella at the Gaiety Theatre, gave voice to Agnus in Agnus of God at The Crypt in Dublin Castle, and played Alice in Alice in Wonderland at the Civic Theatre. One of my most unforgettable roles was being the lead vocalist in Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance, performing across the USA and Canada. Television has also been a big part of my journey, with appearances on Fair City, The Late Late Show, The Bibi Baskin Show, The Den, and Eurosong, including backing vocals for some of Ireland’s most loved performers. Live music is where my heart truly soars. I’ve sung backing vocals for Lionel Richie at the Meteor Awards, and performed with bands including ABBAesque, Boogie Nights, You Win Again, and ABBA Revival. People often tell me my voice is remarkably similar to Agnetha from ABBA, and that comparison has led me to become one of the most sought-after ABBA-style vocalists in the UK and beyond. I’ve had the privilege of performing with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra in the National Concert Hall under Gearóid Grant, and most recently with the Mozart Symphony Orchestra in Cadogan Hall, London under Philip McKenzie. I released an album titled Sweet Child of Mine, a collection of modern songs reimagined as lullabies — a true passion project, created with Michael Durkin and Bill Shanley at The Cauldron Studios in Dublin. Whether I’m performing at a sold-out festival like Matala Beach in Crete (with over 20,000 in the audience!), working as a demo singer, or singing traditional Irish ballads, I bring energy, warmth, and professionalism to everything I do. I’m known not just for my voice, but for being someone people love to work with — friendly, reliable, and always up for a laugh. Music is joy, and I’m so grateful to share that joy wherever I go.

Ingrid sang at my mother in law's funeral last week. Many people have told us what a beautiful service it was. All have mentioned the music. Ingrid's wonderful voice lit up the whole occasion and made it a truly memorable celebration of my mother in law's long life. Ingrid sang everything with emotion and meaning and was also happy to perform new material at short notice. It was fantastic!

Ingrid, a quick note on behalf of the family. Thank you for the amazing vocals last Wednesday. When Mum and I were discussing her wishes; it was everything we hoped. I sobbed the whole way through Ave Maria. Your performance was truly beautiful. On a personal note, thank you for navigating some tricky times. Knowing you were taking care gave me confidence to relax. Wishing you and yours a lovely Christmas x
