Ruby Tunes is the Mobile Disco run by Ian Sawyer, resident DJ at Moles Club's "The Big Cheese", Bath's longest running club night. I am one of the Recommended Suppliers for Bath's Historic Venues which includes the world famous Roman Baths, Pump Rooms and Assembly Rooms. I have also performed at many local venues and in the past few years have had bookings at the likes of Chepstow Racecourse, Clevedon Hall, Coombe Lodge in Blagdon, Cumberwell Park in Bradford-On-Avon, Beechfield House in Beanacre, Orchardleigh House near Frome, Cadbury House Hotel in Bristol and Priston Mill among others.

Thank you Ian from myself and Clair for making our Wedding reception a very special evening, Ian was very professional throughout our reception playing a variety of tracks throughout the evening from 60's to present, Also requests were granted throughout reception too. Great Job Ian, Will definitely book you again in the future mate.

Ian was exactly the kind of DJ we wanted for our wedding, very relaxed and kind as a person, and he put together a great mix of songs we wanted and understood our vibe so was able to add other great tunes in as well - highly recommend him! The music also flowed particularly nicely :) The lighting was also so much fun!!

Ian DJed our wedding and it was perfect. Everyone told us afterwards how amazing the music was and that it was just the perfect playlist for a wedding. We would happily recommend him as a DJ for any wedding.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My enthusiasm, my receptiveness to requests and ability to blend genres to try and cater for everyone in the audience.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Probably supporting Sigala at Bath Spa University's Summer Ball in 2022

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Not a problem - if your initial timings have changed just contact me to let me know so I can adjust my arrival time to ensure I am set up before the event begins.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually require around 60-90 minutes to get all my equipment loaded in and set up. Ease of access to the venue and function room along with other factors such as stairs or lifts need to be taken into consideration also as this can impact on the time it requires me to set everything up - I'm a sole operator and load everything in myself.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I have a music spreadsheet containing over 15,000 which I send to all my clients on booking which you can use as inspiration for any requests you'd like to make. I'm happy to play from a playlist that you provide or to go with the flow and take requests during the event, we can discuss particular music choices leading up to the event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I bring all my own sound and lighting equipment, pictures and videos of which are available if you'd like to see them in action from other events.
