About I-Sha-Vii

As an artist: I am on a mission to make the people around me happier. I play folk/country/blues with multiple bands playing across the UK.

I was originally trained as a classical pianist in Poland. Later, I attended Krakow School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in the class of vocals - that's here I also learned to play the guitar. I've performed solo as I-Sha-Vii since 2014, although I have also been a part of Play Misty, Digsby, The Wicky Wah Wahs, and Amun-Ramen, performing a wide range of styles, varying from country, through blues and prog rock, to indie rock. All my projects performed across the UK, including such prestigious venues as London's Ronnie Scott's or Bristol's Thekla, and I even toured solo as an opening act to Chris Jagger. I enjoy writing original material, however, I am also happy to provide cover sets when that's preferred. I care about bringing happiness with my sound and so I chose songs that make me and others smile. I am always myself on the stage and I believe that I can create a lovely, warm, positive environment. It's like my music gives you a hug.

I-Sha-Vii is a talented musician and a soul of any party, so no wonder her sets for us are always very well received. Every time she played at the Green Man, she brought in a high standard of musicianship and a great atmosphere. She played a mix of her originals and country/folk covers (including some real crowd pleasers). We look forward to having her back at the Green Man soon.

I-Sha-Vii was a guest of my Tuesday Blues Club at the George & Dragon last November. It's always a pleasure to work with her - she's got a great voice, a unique fingerpicking style, and always brings in a great selection of songs. I'd highly recommend working with her.

Customer questions

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I can! This is free of charge in between my sets and I am happy to bring in my own playlist - or you can supply me with a list of songs you'd like included on the list. If you'd like a DJ service via my PA before my first or after the final set, this will come with an additional charge (which will depend on the timings and the type of event).

How much time do you need to set up?

Ideally 45 minutes. Once my PA is up, I can play music through it to help the atmosphere (but there also will be a moment when I need it off to check my sound - this should take only around 10-15 minutes).

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! All I need from you is access to one plug socket.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't on my setlist, just ask me to learn it. I am happy to learn two songs for your event free of charge. Any additional songs will come with a fee of £40 per song - as a compensation for the time it takes to learn a song well enough to perform it in a live setting.
