From conception, the idea for the band was clear. - A fun, upbeat high calibre project with their feet firmly in the 80's & 90's. In 2013 I Love Amp debuted their show and from then on, the band has flourished. They have developed an incredible live show for Festivals, Parties, Corporate Events & Weddings. Their schedule of public gigs is also extensive. One of the most in demand bands in the southwest, I Love Amp is made up of professional session musicians who always deliver the finest performances. In late 2019 and then again in 2020 by public vote, they won ‘Book Entertainments’ award for ‘Best Function Band in the UK’ in 2020 & 2021 the received the award for 'Event Band of the year' and in 2021 were crowned 'Most Entertaining Event Band'. For 3 years in a row they have won Lux Life Wedding awards Best Wedding Band '21, '22 & '23 ... and they continue to go from strength to strength.

I love Amp played at Nancarrow Farm for mine and my husband’s wedding and they were absolutely phenomenal. Each song they played was better than the last - they really read the room and hyped everyone up - playing absolute bangers one after the other!!! Can’t thank them enough, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone for anything. They absolutely made our evening party so much fun and so special - all the guests loved them too. The 90s mash up at the end of the night was just incredible too!!!

The band are absolutely fantastic. They really know how to get a party started. Kat’s voice is amazing and she completely involved the crowd and personalised it. Well done and thank you for such a memorable night 🥳

WHAT A BAND!!!! They traveled 10 hours to get to us and were still on top form. They are all so talented and you can feel they love to perform together. The lead singer, Kat, has an Freddie Mercury like range of songs her vocals can do and she personalised the songs to our wedding which got so many guest involved. The communication with Tim (the drummer) beforehand was so easy and quick to respond. Lots of guests asking for their details and to quote the venue manager "they were the best bend we have ever had!" Thank you again!!!!!

I really wanted a fantastic female singer with live band for our wedding and when I found 'I love Amp' online I was over the moon. They were an absolute breeze to deal with and so accommodating to our needs on the day and also the venues. They are soooo talented and everybody commented how fantastic they were to have. Plus they just seem like nice lovely people which was a bonus. My highlight was them asking us to stand in the middle of the circle whilst our friends and family surround us and they sang a song - I will never forget it. I would highly recommend to anybody who wants an exciting, talented and flexible band for their event!

Well what a 40th.....!! 'I love Amp' were as awesome as ever and I can't thank the band enough for the ace way I started my 40th year! Everyone who attended was 'singing' the praises of how good 'I love Amp' were. In fact, Matt the Landlord of the Globe Pub in Lympstone suggested they were, I quote, 'the best band he had ever had in his pub'.... I think he also mentioned to me that this party now holds record takings, beating new years eve 2020, so I can only imagine the music added to that recording breaking feat! I highly recommend these guys for any party, wedding or celebration! Thanks I Love Amp.... you were great!

We are all about involving the clients as much as we can. We always provide something, fun, unexpected and exciting. Our front woman is not only an amazing technical singer, but knows how to entertain people brilliantly.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes, on as many bookings as possible, the singer will be the same as seen in the videos. On occasions, if our singer is unavailable or becomes ill, we have several professional dep singers who we can bring in. We will communicate all & any changes as soon as possible. Our reputation is everything, so we can guarantee the very highest quality performers.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes! We can offer several different options for whatever event or plans you have. We offer The Acoustic Duo - Vocalist & Acoustic Guitar/backing vocals The Acoustic Trio - Vocalist, Acoustic Guitar & drums/backing vocals The Full band - 4 piece Vocalist, Guitar, Bass, Drums & backing vocals. Full DJ as part of any bookings.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We will try to be as flexible as possible to make sure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to your event, just let us know. Standard bookings cover a 6pm arrival and midnight finish time, If we are required to arrive much earlier or go on past midnight, there may be an additional fee to pay.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes. All of our packages provide a DJ service before, between and after our live sets up until midnight.

How much time do you need to set up?

Once the room is clear and accessible, we require between 60-90 minutes to get set up and sound checked. As soon as our PA is set up, we can provide background music to set the atmosphere until our live performance.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Whilst we don’t allow you to choose the whole show, we can provide you with our song list before your event. If you'd like us leave any tracks out or make sure that we definitely play a song from our repertoire, we’re happy to craft a setlist around that – for specific song requests, please get in touch.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, we provide a state of the art 10.4k Nexo PA system and stage lighting as part of your quote. We require approximately 2.5 x 5m of floor space/stage area. We can also provide a full light show with moving heads, led pixel bars smoke machines etc along with a sound and lighting engineer for an additional fee if you want the ‘full show’.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes! For specific song requests not in our repetoire, please get in touch. (There will be a small fee to cover rehearsal time and cost).
