I am a graduate from the University of Nottingham who has been playing music for the last 14 years! Most recently, in the final year of my degree I directed the University Big Band to 11 gigs; including the 2024 Graduate Ball and an evening of music at the prestigious 'Peggy Skylight' Jazz club. I am classically trained on both Saxophone (ARSM Diploma) and Piano (Grade 8), but found my passion for Jazz about 5 years ago and have since continued more prevalently along that route. I played 1st Tenor saxophone for 'SCYJO' (Surrey County Youth Jazz Orchestra) and 1st alto saxophone for two years in the University of Nottingham Big Band. I have extensive function gigging experience dating all the way back to the jazz duo that my friend and I formed at school. We even released two jazz originals on Spotify under the name 'Wah5'! Since then I have done function gigging all the time throughout university. I also have furthered my musical vocabulary by playing saxophone with DJs in bars. I absolutely love playing music and hope to be considered for your event!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

How much time do you need to set up?

Not long! ~45-60 minutes

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Absolutely!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes you can!

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

I am able to bring my own - I have a high quality Yamaha Keyboard.

Can you learn song requests before the event?
