I am a 3rd year Economics student at the University of Nottingham who loves playing music! I am the current musical director of UoN's 'Moonlighters' Big Band and have been playing music for about 14 years. I am classically trained on both Saxophone (ARSM Diploma Distinction) and Piano (Grade 8), but I found my passion for Jazz about 5 years ago and have since continued more prevalently along that route. I played 1st Tenor for 'SCYJO' (Surrey County Youth Jazz Orchestra) and more recently 1st Alto for UoN's 'Moonlighters'. I have extensive gigging experience having been part of a jazz band which played at events for over 2 years, and I also love busking! I also have further experience in writing music with the band, which is available for streaming on Spotify under the artist name 'Wah5'.
