Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always do my best to be flexible and work to exact requirements of the client.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free for at least 15 mins before and after the set. If you'd like a DJ service for longer, this can be provided for a small fee.

How much time do you need to set up?

Set up is quick and easy as all equipment is portable. Half an hour is more than adequate set up time and I can put background music on as soon as I arrive, prior to the performance, to set the atmosphere.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I am more than happy for clients to choose the songs from my repertoire to make up the set list. In fact, if there are any requests for songs that are not on my set list, with prior notice I will do my best to have them ready.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, all equipment is provided. I have recently invested in a new Bose Sound Pro S1 PA system, and I bring trombone, guitar and percussion instrument for the audience to play.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If there are any requests for songs that are not on my set list, with prior notice I will do my best to have them ready at no extra cost.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My performances are mainly in care homes for the elderly. The staff love the way I interact with the residents. Most care homes book me once a month, and residents enjoy hearing a familiar voice singing and playing songs that remind them of special times in their lives. The staff in the care homes are always amazed at the way music brings them all to life!!

I played in the New Squadronaires Dance Orchestra alongside Vera Lynn at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
