Harmonica Lewinsky Band

Harmonica Lewinsky has been performing a rare repertoire of cockney, musichall classics together with Chas & Dave, 'London pop/rock classics from the Kinks, Small Faces, Elvis Costello, Squeeze etc for 10 years. More recently he has put a great band together to bring this music to a wider audience. He belts out the lyrics to hundreds of songs, has a great dry stage persona and plays with fantastic seasoned professionals to create a rocking, fun-filled audience experience. There may not be another performer in the country with his wide and deep collection of old London songs, including Lunatic Asylum, Gus Alan classics such as It's a Great Big Shame, Wait Till the Work Comes Round, as well as other well known songs such as Right Said Fred, Ernie the Fastest Milkman in the West, along with TV theme tunes such as Top Cat and Flintstones. All of the Chas & Dave classics, loads of Elvis and plenty more. The band back him with a great driving rhythm and awesome guitar lead technic and sweet backing vocals. Who else sings the verses to Daisy, I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles, Oh I Do Like To Be Beside the Seaside. When you hear them, you'll wonder why folks don't sing these any more, they are great songs! You will be transported into a nostalgic dream state and wish you wouldn't wake up. Keeping what is effectively English/London folk music alive.
