Hannah McDermott

Hannah is a versatile guitarist/musical performer currently residing in central Scotland. She is an enthusiastic and reliable musician that enjoys being part of the music industry. She has gained a wealth of musical knowledge in the completion of a BA(hons) degree in Popular Music and has gained experience within the Scottish music industry. An example of this would be becoming a finalist for The Quaich Project's Scottish Emerging Artist Competition, with regards to her own compositional work. As well as playing in Edinburgh based wedding band Juniper, Hannah's main focus is now on performing and arranging as a solo acoustic guitar player. This acoustic style of playing combines melodies and bass lines, creating a full band arrangement of songs that can be performed on just the guitar alone. Hannah's intricate playing is sophisticated yet moving, creating a sound for easy and enjoyable listening (perfect as background music during your event).
