Haney's Big House

Haney's Big House is a five-piece Rhythm & Blues combo on the Western Star record label. They play in a traditional 40’s/50’s style. A line-up of Drums, Double Bass, 2 guitars and Harmonica with largely period-vintage instruments and equipment creates the signature authentic sound of Haney’s Big House. Whilst they are a relatively new band on the UK scene, their 2 albums of original material do not sound out of place alongside the classic sounds of old style Chicago, swinging West Coast blues and honkin' R&B. Named after the legendary 50s juke joint in Ferriday, Louisiana, they bring superb musicianship and a powerful driving sound to Jump Blues, Swing and Rock 'n' Roll. Since starting out in 2017, they have become favourites of both dancers and blues music lovers and their schedule sees them playing clubs, music festivals and big vintage events throughout the UK.
