Toured the US twice, Supported Bruce Springsteen at Hyde Park & Headlined Trafalgar Square - this band is guaranteed to deliver & then some!

Halfway to New York are a rare gem on the Function & Corporate circuit. Having supported huge names including Bruce Springsteen at Hyde Park and headlined Trafalgar Square as part of the Closing Paralympic Celebrations, the band caught the attention of promoters in the United States. Since then the band have been touring across the US supporting bands like Fuel and Alien Ant Farm. Now back in the UK, the band have been inundated with requests to perform at Corporate and Private Events. Available as a high energy 4-piece band as standard, with the option of adding Female Vocals and Saxophone to the line-up, H2NY can tailor their band to suit each client’s individual requirements. They also offer a DJ service and all Sound and Lighting equipment is included. Sam Burkey, the band’s lead vocalist, has recorded backing vocals for artists including Adele, Goldfrapp and Keith Urban, as well as singing on Movie Soundtracks such as “Pan”, “Miss Pereguine’s Home for Peculiar Children” and “Mission Impossible: Fallout”.

Absolutely amazing band! No hassle and Sam the lead singer could not have been more accommodating! Made our party what it was with a great variety of music for everyone! Really glad we also got the female vocalist and sax player as they just completed the sound of the band!

Halfway to New York played at our wedding and were fantastic. Sam is very energetic and has a great voice - our guests loved the songs and wanted to dance the night away! Sam is also really friendly and was also very responsive in the run up to the wedding, which was a great comfort as we had a few quetions. Would definitely recommend them!!

Dear Sam, and the whole Halfway To New York band, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for such an incredible evening on Friday. I honestly can’t put into words just how amazing you were, you literally made my evening. I have been to many 18ths, 21st and black tie events and enjoyed bands, but you surpassed them all. The playlist of songs was perfect, the music was outstanding, and your voice was simply phenomenal. Your energy and enthusiasm was unparalleled. We were thrilled with the saxophonist, and loved dancing with him on the dance floor. Everyone was dancing, and I genuinely had the best night of my life. I didn’t want to leave the dance floor. You guys have a big future ahead of you! All the guests were raving about you, and commented that you were exceptional. Thank you again for such an unforgettable evening. I will cherish the memories for the rest of my life. Please extend my thanks to the rest of the band.

I booked Halfway to New York for my 40th Birthday party in October. The party had a Nashville theme and Sam and the band went out of their way to accommodate my love of country music! Sam spent time working through the playlist to ensure that it worked with the theme but that we also had a good mix of music to keep the dancing going throughout the evening. The band were absolutely amazing and my friends are still talking about them. I would not hesitate in booking them again.

Thank you so much for travelling to the Cotswolds on Saturday to play at my 50th birthday party. You were really fantastic. I have to admit, knowing my friends as I do, that I was worried about how much dancing would actually happen but, totally thanks to your set, the dance floor was never empty. Honestly, all of our guests commented on how good you were and even the staff at Foxhill were very complimentary. We wanted to have an upbeat party atmosphere where our friends could let their hair down and enjoy themselves and you certainly managed to achieve this. Again, thank you, both for travelling so far and for such a fantastic set. It was a brilliant way to end a brilliant weekend. I am so grateful. Wishing you every success in the future!
