Customer questions
What do your clients love most about your performances?
I am often told I look the part and sound the part! Singing classic vintage tunes is only half the job as the vintage hair, make-up and dress are another part of the performance. which are massively enjoyed by the audience.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
I performed at the Oulton Park during their vintage car events, Armed Forces events in Wigan and St Helen's, The Plaza in Atherton (as a house singer) and McDonald Kilhey Court Hotel.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
I absolutely love vintage artists! Ella Fitzgerald and Doris day are among my favourites. Their sound never goes out of style and I could listen to them all day! But there's a soft soft in my hear for Vera Lynn (the Force's sweetheart) I cover many of her classic wartime Songs which never fail to have the audience singing along!
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
I featured briefly on ITV local news for singing at a 107th Birthday in Formby!
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I always try hard to be flexible to ensure your event runs smoothly. Simply, let me know as soon as possible and I will do my best to accommodate you depending on my other commitments that day.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
I can provide an iPod or Spotify playlist to play in-between sets, simply let me know in advance and it will be prepared for you on the day. This is all included in the cost.
How much time do you need to set up?
I require roughly 15-30 mins to set up. As soon as my PA System is set up I can play a little background music to set the atmosphere for your event.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
That's Fine! I have several different shows all with different themes including; Rock n Roll, Wartime Memories, 1920's Gatsby which have been crafted using songs from a specific time. However, some eras and genres overlap so I'm more than happy to perform another from my songlist.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Absolutely! I have all the equipment I need . Access to an electrical socket for indoor gigs is all I require.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I am more than happy to do this for you. Let me know your requests more than 48 hours before the event and there is a fee of £10 per song for this service to take into account rehearsal and locating an instrumental backing
