Giulia and the Lizards are an energetic and engaging band featuring a line-up of professional musicians with more than 19 years of live performance experience within the UK specialising in weddings, corporate events and private parties. Giulia and the Lizards repertoire is characterised by a wide selection of Pop, Rock, Soul, R&B classics, uplifting Motown songs and famous Jazz standards. Being bi-lingual we also have a range of Italian and Spanish songs to choose from. The band is led by natural-born singer Giulia, a fearless performer who can smoothly adapt to all genres. With her soulful voice she never fails to get everyone involved. Expect a non-stop show, full of famous uplifting songs and complementary arrangements, which will get everyone up, dancing and singing along. All equipment is provided including lighting, and PA system, which can be adapted to the specific needs of the event and venue. We have a very flexible and personalised approach to each event, and always strive to provide a highly professional service throughout the entire booking process. This includes constant communication with our clients at all times, in order to guarantee a customised experience and outstanding service.

Jose was a really wonderful communicator, and gave us all the information we needed to make this a perfect event. All the band were charming people. Giulia’s voice is incredible , and they all performed brilliantly. Everyone danced all night long. I couldn’t recommend them more

We booked guilia and the lizards for our festive cocktail house party and we had the best night ever! We worked with the band before the event to discuss timings, prices and set lists and worked out an amazing song list and logistics for the night! I can’t tell how how helpful the band were. When you’re having an event you want everything to run smoothly and I always felt so reassured by the band. They set up in our flat and made sure to check on volume, for the neighbours. The vibe they created was absolutely immense! People were dancing and losing themselves in the music, and the chants for ONE MORE SONG spoke for themselves! It was such a blast. The band are so easy to work with and prices were so reasonable. These are great great musicians who will take your party to the next level. Would totally recommend Gill and Tom x x

Jose was an absolute pleasure to deal with and the band performed fantastically. Everybody at our event said how impressed they were with the professionalism of the band, many saying the band was the high-light of the evening and would book the band themselves for weddings, etc! We asked the band to play a few requests and picked a range of songs from their current repertoire, which was a great mix of songs for everyone to enjoy. Thank you for being sensitive to the occasion - it was a charity event commemorating what would have been my late Father's birthday - and this was something very much considered. The band are extremely dynamic and although the listed singer could not attend the date of our event, singer Guilia is incredible and we couldn't have been happier! We'd love to invite the band back to any future celebrations with hold. 100% recommend these fantastic musicians for any occasion. HUGE THANKS and all the best, Nicola & Family

The band's high energy and versatility and our very impressive singer and front woman, who is a natural-born, fearless performer. We interact with the audience from the first to the last song and read the crowds and environments really well so we are able to please and delight all sorts of crowds.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-auditioned musicians of our absolute trust, available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band, our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Duo: Vocals & guitar, drums Trios: Vocals & guitar, bass and drums OR Vocals, keyboards and drums 4-Piece: Vocals, bass, drums, and guitar OR keyboards 5-Piece: Vocals, bass, drums, guitar, and keyboards 6-Piece: Adding male singer, Sax or Trumpet

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run-up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £60/ hour.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course, you can: our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system are included in our quote for events with up to 200 guests.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Of course, we can: we take up to 3 requests free of charge. We love requests as they help us to keep on making our song list bigger.!
