Hello, I'm George. Originally from Glasgow in Scotland, I'm now based in Oxford. Where I regularly play with the Oxford Caledonian Pipes and Drums at various events in and around Oxford. As a Solo Piper I am available to play for you anywhere and at any type of event e.g. Wedding, Funeral, Birthday, Burns Night, New Years Eve etc,. Whatever the event, I will work with you to ensure its success.

Thankyou, you are very kind it was a pleasure to play for you.

We contacted and arranged for George to play as a surprise for my husband on our wedding day. George is an absolute gent, very warm and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. George played me down the aisle, again after the ceremony and for a confetti tunnel afterwards. He played beautifully, and the songs chosen were perfect. Not forgetting that George was extremely helpful and was more than happy to have pictures taken with everyone! Without a doubt, we feel extremely privileged that George was a part of our day- having him play reduced many people to tears and made the ceremony absolutely perfect. Something we will never forget. What if my timings change after I've booked you?

This isn't a problem just let me know as soon as possible.

How much time do you need to set up?

I aim to arrive at your venue about 30-45 minutes early this allows me to tune, set up to be ready for the time you have booked me to begin.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Of course if there is a tune or tunes that you like please let me know

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely I just need a little time to tune and settle my Pipes

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If you have a specific tune that doesn't appear on my tune list and is playable on the bagpipes and I can find I am happy to learn it
