Gary was absolutely brilliant from booking right to the end of a great night. He not only curated an excellent set for dinner and dancing at my parents 50th anniversary based on their music tastes across the years, but also catered to a bunch of last minute requests that made the night truly special - including setting up and sound checking a surprise acoustic song that my mum had planned. We had a fabulous night and Gary was brilliant throughout - friendly, courteous and 100% professional. Thank you Gary!

What a DJ. He contacted me before my party to gauge what music I would like. He was early to set up. Played everything I asked for and the guests asked for. He played longer than he was paid to do, as people were still dancing. If you want your party to go with a bang, book Gary.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients often mention the friendly, relaxed atmosphere and how naturally the music flows through the night. Reading the room, blending requests with great party favourites and keeping the energy building helps create a packed dancefloor and a celebration guests remember long after the final song.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Performances have included singing at the London Palladium on six occasions, along with providing DJ services at venues such as Aviator Hotel Sky Lounge (Farnborough), Oakley Hall Hotel (Basingstoke), Frederick’s Hotel & Spa (Maidenhead), Mercure Bedford Centre Hotel and a variety of private venues and country house celebrations.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

My musical influences span from Buddy Holly through Motown and Northern Soul to classic rock and blues artists such as Queen, Gary Moore and Stevie Ray Vaughan. The dance legends of the 70s, 80s and 90s also shaped my musical taste, giving me a broad appreciation of the songs that fill dancefloors and create unforgettable moments.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Performing at the London Palladium in front of 2,700 people on six occasions over six years was an incredible experience. While those performances were as a vocalist rather than a DJ, they helped shape my passion for creating atmosphere, connecting with an audience and making every celebration feel special.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem at all. Event plans sometimes change, so just keep me updated, and I’ll do my best to accommodate any timing adjustments where possible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

No need for an iPod service as the music is mixed continuously throughout the event, ensuring a seamless flow with no gaps in the atmosphere. Brief moments away may happen for quick refreshes or to engage with guests, but the music always continues. Extended playing time can also be arranged if the celebration runs later than planned.

How much time do you need to set up?

Typically around 90–130 minutes, depending on the venue and setup required. Setup is always completed before guests arrive so everything is ready to go when your celebration begins.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely. Music is memories, so your favourite songs and playlists are an integral part of shaping the soundtrack of the night. We can discuss the music you love beforehand and include those special tracks that bring back memories. Requests on the night are welcome too, helping create the perfect atmosphere for everyone.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, all equipment required for the performance is provided. Only two standard electrical sockets are needed. A full DJ booth setup is used where space allows, with a more compact setup available for smaller venues, ensuring a professional look that fits comfortably within the space.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Absolutely. If there’s a special song you’d like included, just let me know in advance, and I’ll make sure it’s available for your celebration. Whether it’s a first dance, a favourite classic or something meaningful to you, the music can always be tailored to help make the moment memorable.
