Since graduating with an MA in Composition, I have developed a solo repertoire of easy listening acoustic solos, classical melodies and arrangements of popular tunes and Celtic melodies. The music I play and perform is very much a reflection of who I am (or at least how I aim to be!) - laid back and relaxed. I am not someone who likes to take centre stage rather I prefer to blend into the background and simply be part of the soundtrack to your special day.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

People always say how relaxed they are when listening to me play which is something I really take pride in. That's the atmosphere I aim to create.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have played in many churches across South Wales (as well as a fair few fields!), Clwb Ifor Bach, The Moon, The Louisiana and The Welsh Millennium Centre.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

As a solo guitarist, I am most influenced by the likes of Pierre Bensusan, Tony McManus, Ben Walker and Davy Graham. I also love the showmanship of Tommy Emmanuel!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I played at the Welsh Music Awards in 2022 and absolutely loved the experience!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be as flexible as possible to ensure that your event runs as smoothly as possible. If the timings change at all, just let me know and we can see if we can sort something out.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes of course! I offer this service for free as it's just a matter of plugging my device in and pressing play. If you'd like a DJ service after the set via my PA, I can provide that for an additional £35/hour.

How much time do you need to set up?

I am only a solo act so it will take a maximum of 30 minutes to set up. As soon as I set up, I'm ready to go!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from many performance over the past few years and learning what works best to create the best atmosphere for your event. However, I'm certainly happy to chat through and make sure the set list is right for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring everything that I need - all I need is a power source.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes, of course. If there is a piece that is not on my set list which you would like me to play, let me know and I'll learn it for your event. I can also arrange your favourite song for an additional £50.
