Hi, I’m Pete, the Funky Booth DJ. I love what music does to people. One track can bring back a memory, pull someone onto the dancefloor or turn a room full of different people into one happy crowd. That still gives me a huge buzz, every single time. I’ve lived through decades of great music and still keep up with what works now. That means I can move confidently between old favourites, newer tracks and everything in between, bringing different ages and tastes together without the music feeling all over the place. Parties, weddings and corporate events all have their own rhythm. Some start with cool background grooves while people arrive and chat. Others need big singalong moments, hands-in-the-air tracks or a few brilliant surprises along the way. I mix live and build the music around the people in front of me. The work starts well before I press play. We’ll talk about who’s coming, the atmosphere you want, key moments and the songs you love. I’ll then prepare carefully, so everything feels calm and easy when the event arrives. You’ll always get me, from the first message to the final track, along with quality sound, smart lighting and a professional setup. I don’t take myself too seriously, but I take DJing very seriously.
